Taylor Swift’s third GRAMMY® Album of the Year, folklore, was created during the Covid-19 lockdown, when Taylor and her collaborators were unable to perform the album together. That changed in September 2020 with folklore: the long pond studio sessions, marking the first time the album was played live as a group at Long Pond Studio in New York.

Recorded live, this intimate session features Taylor Swift alongside Aaron Dessner (The National), Jack Antonoff (Bleachers), and Justin Vernon (Bon Iver), delivering stripped-down performances that highlight the album’s emotional depth and storytelling.
