About Us

Why Vinyl People?

I've been around music most of my life.

Long before Vinyl People Records existed, I was a DJ, a record collector, and a music lover who could spend way too much time digging through records just to see what I might find.

Truth is, I still can.

There's something different about a great record. It's the music, the artwork, the story, the sound, and sometimes just the feeling of pulling something unexpected out of a bin.

That's what I wanted Vinyl People Records to be.

A real record store for people who love music. It doesn't matter if you've been collecting for fifty years, you're a serious crate digger, or you bought your first turntable last week and have no idea where to start. You're welcome here.

I personally choose the records that come into the shop. Condition matters, but so does the music. I'm always hunting for great albums, interesting pressings, unexpected finds, and records that simply deserve another spin.

You'll find classic rock, jazz, punk, alternative, hip-hop, electronic, new releases, old favorites, rare finds, imports and plenty of records you didn't know you needed until you found them.

But the records are only half the story.

The best part of owning a record store is the people.

It's hearing someone say, "I haven't seen this record in twenty years." It's helping somebody finally find an album they've been hunting forever. It's turning someone onto an artist they've never heard before. And it's watching that moment when somebody pulls a record from the bin and knows they're taking it home.

That's why we're called Vinyl People Records.

Because this place was never just about vinyl.

It's about the people who love it.

Welcome to Vinyl People Records.

Come dig awhile. You never know what you'll find.
