GUNS N ROSES-APPETITE FOR DESTRUCTION BANNED COVER
- The original cover art for Guns N' Roses' debut album "Appetite for Destruction" featured a graphic illustration of a robot rapist about to be punished by a metal avenger. The artwork, created by Robert Williams, was deemed controversial and ultimately led to the album being pulled from store shelves and replaced with a different cover featuring the band's logo superimposed over a cross. This new cover is more commonly known as the "cross cover" and the original cover is now considered a banned cover. It is sought after by collectors and fans of the band. This is a colored Import Fantasy edition. Note: Not an Original pressing.
