Pepper Pink Crustaceans and Good Vibrations - Vinyl

Hailing from Hawaii, Pepper has a unique slant on modern surfer rock (as distinct from "surf rock"--there are no Ventures riffs here). Fans of Jack Johnson et al. will nevertheless feel right at home with the funky-but-mellow grooves of PINK CRUSTACEANS AND GOOD VIBRATIONS. Reggae rhythms abound on the trio's tunes, but so do light-footed funk beats and echoes of Red Hot Chili Peppers at their most easygoing, making for an appropriately sunny-sounding album.
